Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almonds

  • 1 cup cashews

  • 1/2 cup pistachios

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/2 cup melon seeds (magaj)

  • 1/2 cup chironji (charoli)

  • 1/4 cup flax seeds

  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • 1/2 cup mixed dried berries

  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots

  • 1 cup chopped dates

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Heat a wide pan on low flame.

  2. Dry roast almonds, cashews, and pistachios for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly golden.

  3. Add pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, melon seeds, chironji, and flax seeds.

  4. Continue roasting on low flame with constant stirring until the seeds begin to pop and turn slightly crisp.

  5. Turn off the heat and let the roasted mixture cool completely.

  6. Once cool, add raisins, mixed berries, chopped apricots, and dates.

  7. Add powdered sugar if desired and mix well.

  8. Store in an airtight container once completely cool. It stays fresh for up to 2 to 3 weeks.
