📌 Ingredients

Salad Base

  • 150g Cucumber – Thinly sliced for crunch
  • 30g Cherry Tomatoes – Cut into halves for slight sweetness
  • ¼ tsp Chili Flakes – Adds spice
  • ½ tsp Sesame Seeds (Black + White) – Adds texture and nutrients
  • 5g Fresh Coriander – Chopped for fresh taste

Masala Tofu

  • 50g Tofu – Cut into cubes (homemade or store-bought firm tofu)
  • ¼ tsp Ghee – For roasting (Use coconut oil or olive oil for vegan option)
  • Salt & Crushed Black Pepper – As per taste

Creamy Peanut Dressing

  • 5g Peanut Butter – Homemade and unsweetened is best
(Optional: You can replace with Red Pepper Feta Dressing if you want a cheesy, tangy taste)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice – For freshness and tanginess
  • ½ Clove Garlic – Finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp Chaat Masala
  • ¼ tsp Cumin Powder
  • Salt & Pepper – As per taste
  • Water – To adjust dressing consistency

🥣 Method

1. Prepare Masala Tofu

Heat the ghee in a small pan. Add tofu cubes. Add salt and crushed black pepper. Roast on medium heat until tofu becomes golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges. Keep aside.

2. Assemble Salad

Take a bowl or jar. Add sliced cucumber first. Then add cherry tomatoes. Add roasted tofu on top.

3. Add Flavour Ingredients

Add chopped garlic, chili flakes, cumin powder, and chaat masala. Add lemon juice. Sprinkle sesame seeds.

4. Add Dressing & Mix

Add peanut butter and a little water.

If using jar → Close lid and shake well until dressing mixes properly.
If using a bowl → Mix dressing separately, then pour and toss salad well.

💡 Tips for Best Taste

  • For Crispy Tofu: Always dry tofu with tissue before roasting
  • Jar Shake Method: Helps peanut butter mix evenly and coat vegetables well
  • For Vegan Version: Replace ghee with coconut oil or olive oil
  • For Better Taste: Keep salad in fridge for 5 minutes before eating
