These homemade ginger shots are a powerful immunity booster. Packed with natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients like ginger, turmeric, and lemon, they’re perfect for daily consumption—especially during seasonal changes or to support overall health.


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fresh ginger (peeled and roughly chopped)

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (or a small piece of fresh turmeric)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

  • A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)

  • 1/2 cup water (adjust for desired consistency)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Wash and peel the ginger. Roughly chop it into small pieces.

  2. Blend:

    • In a blender or mixie jar, add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, honey (if using), black pepper, and water.

    • Blend until smooth.

  3. Strain:

    • Use a fine mesh strainer or muslin cloth to strain the liquid into a clean bowl or jar.

    • Press or squeeze to extract all the juice.

  4. Store or Serve:

    • Pour into small glass bottles or shot glasses.

    • Store in the refrigerator and consume within 3–4 days.


How to Consume:

  • Take 1 shot (about 30 ml) in the morning on an empty stomach.

  • Shake well before each use.


Tips:

  • Add a small piece of fresh turmeric root for enhanced benefits if available.

  • Honey is optional—skip it for a sugar-free version.

  • Black pepper is important to activate curcumin in turmeric for better absorption.
